Abstract

We discuss the game of Operative Mode AND (MO-AND) as a support device for training in the clinic of subjectivity. MO-AND is a practice of play and a system of thought that functions as a methodology for the experiential investigation of relationships and reciprocity, of an ethical-aesthetic and somatic-political nature. Based on a study that investigated the MO-AND game experience with psychology trainees in clinical training, we present some results that point to the potential for the formation of a clinical competence in the game, capable of facing the challenges posed to education and clinical practice itself, such as the flattening of experience and the protocolization of these practices. MO-AND appears as a device that exercises the reappropriation of sensitive experience and the ability to relate through corporeality, integrating perception and action, thought and affection, a vital exercise for the clinic.
